Submissions Form
For your free sample edit with a quote for your full work, please send 5–20 pages attached to an email or copy and paste four pages below.
One or two pages will be edited free of charge and sent back to you within a few days with all changes clearly marked. Word's tracking and comments system is used so that you will always know what changes have been made, along with any further suggestions/questions. Tracking also enables you to reject or keep any changes you want. A fully edited 'clean' copy with tracking and comments removed will also be sent to you for your convenience.
An accurate, fixed quote for your full text will also be given with your free sample edit. You are, of course, under no obligation when you make a submission for your free sample edit.
Copy and paste your text into the box below (maximum 1000 words please) for your free sample edit. Please also include the total number of words of your full text for your free, no-obligation, quote.
Please note that I do not provide a free proofreading/editing service and the free edit is available for a sample of work only and not for the entire work, no matter how small. A sample is edited at no charge to provide a personal example of my services for interested clients and to allow the benefits and improvements to be seen clearly, and also to help with deciding which level of editing may be the most suitable. It also allows me to provide a fixed, accurate estimate for a complete piece of work.
I hate spam just as much as you do – submitted email addresses will never be used to send unsolicited email, nor will they ever be sold, given or in any other way handed to any third party.
You can rest assured that all your submitted work will be treated as 100% confidential – nothing will be passed on elsewhere, ever.
If I am very busy I may not be able to give free sample edits at that time. My apologies, but please do try again later if you don't hear back from me.
Please don't submit work of an offensive or prejudice nature: I don't edit work of this kind.
